After the balloons leave Baton Rouge for the Balloon Festival, they fly right over the nearby home of Donna Schexnaydre, innkeeper at The Victorian on the Avenue (www.BnBFinder.com/VictorianAvenue). Located in Donaldsonville, The Victorian on the Avenue has had quite an exciting existence. Built in the 1890s, it has been used as five different shops and a private home. In October of 2002, the house moved!
